Lilly is a lifelong animal enthusiast sharing her home with several dogs and a single fat cat named Fishstix. She has worked in animal welfare and as a horse wrangler, but is currently a full-time writer and graduate student. As a creative nonfiction editor, she is looking for distinct voices that convey vulnerability and honesty while making unique connections and poignant realizations. She loves alternative forms and experimentation but has a deep appreciation for the classics too.
Lilly holds a BA from Southern New Hampshire University and is a current MFA candidate at the Vermont College of Fine Art. She writes both creative nonfiction and fiction in various forms and genres, frequently addressing women’s issues, mental illness, trauma recovery, and disability rights. Occasionally, she even writes lighthearted stories about her family and animals.
She has been published here at Honeyguide before becoming an editor, as well as Entropy Magazine, Flashglass, and others. She has upcoming publications with JMWW, Little Patuxent Review, and Dream of Shadows. Her dream publication is Brevity.
When not writing, reading, or chasing dependents, she enjoys hiking, camping, and travel of all types. She is also a huge fan of coffee and naps.
