Poetry
i suffer
from the delusion
that some kind fisherman—
i only need one—
will consider me
not trash, but real
like the rose fish
he holds up turning
dazzling sunlight
and then releases
instead, clearly
i lie here—
magnifying grains
of sand he treads upon—
drying, dying,
reflecting sky
perfect blues
